Get Started with OK Alone

Welcome to OK Alone! This guide will help you quickly get started using the OK Alone platform, whether you are a Lone Worker or a Monitor. Follow the steps below and explore helpful articles to make the most of the system and ensure safety from day one.

For Lone Workers: How to Start Using OK Alone

  1. Receive Your Access PIN
    Once your organization adds you to OK Alone, you’ll get a unique PIN by email or text.

  2. Download the OK Alone App
    Get the app on your device:

  3. Log In and Start Your Shift
    Open the app, enter your PIN, and tap Start Shift to begin. This activates location tracking and check-in reminders.

  4. Check In Regularly
    Respond to check-in prompts within the app before the timer expires to confirm your safety.

  5. Use Emergency Features
    If you need help, tap the Help button or use gestures like shaking your phone to send an alert to your monitor(s).

  6. End Your Shift
    When your work is done, tap End Shift to stop tracking and alerts.

For Monitors: How to Begin Monitoring with OK Alone

  1. Log In to the Dashboard
    Access the OK Alone Monitor Dashboard from any web browser: https://my.okalone.net
    Use your registered email and password to log in. 

  2. Familiarize Yourself with the Dashboard
    View live statuses, locations, and alerts of your assigned workers. Learn to acknowledge and resolve alerts promptly.

  3. Set Up Alert Preferences and Escalations
    Customize alert notifications via SMS, phone, email, or WhatsApp to fit your team’s needs. Configure escalation loops to ensure no alert goes unanswered.

  4. Manage Worker Groups and Shifts
    Organize workers by department or region to streamline monitoring and reporting.

  5. Use Reporting Features
    Generate reports on shifts and alerts, and browse our range of user requested reports.
