July App Release - iOS and Android

OK Alone has released updated versions of our mobile app for both iOS and Android. These latest releases (v12.204) introduce key new features that enhance safety, streamline access to resources, and strengthen account security.

Now available to download from the App Store and Google Play, these updates continue our mission to make lone worker protection both robust and user-friendly.

🔗 Useful Links Section

A brand new Useful Links feature allows organizations to embed important resources directly into the app.

  • Add URLs to support pages, external forms, company tools, or documentation—no development needed.

  • Include key phone numbers and deep links to other apps used across your workforce.

  • All workers get instant access to critical resources from one convenient location.

This improves access, reduces confusion, and saves time for both field workers and supervisors.

🔐 Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

To boost account protection, the app now supports SMS-based Multi-Factor Authentication.

  • During login, users can choose to add a second verification step via SMS.

  • Helps meet compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA) and prepares organizations for penetration testing.

  • MFA is optional for workers, keeping onboarding simple while offering enterprise-grade security for those who need it.
