Activating High-Risk Check-In on Your iPhone

When you’re about to perform a solitary or unfamiliar task—like traveling to a new site or working alone away from base—use the High-Risk Check-In feature for extra peace of mind. It shortens your next check-in interval so your monitor team is alerted sooner if you don’t respond.

1. What Is High-Risk Check-In?

High-Risk Check-In lets you override your normal check-in schedule with a shorter timer—from 5 minutes up to 5 hours. If you miss this shortened check-in, your monitoring team is notified immediately and can dispatch assistance to your last known location.

2. When to Use High-Risk Check-In

Use High-Risk whenever you:

  • Travel to an unfamiliar location

  • Leave your main work area for a solitary task

  • Enter a situation with elevated hazards or limited communication

3. Setting Up High-Risk Check-In

  1. Tap the menu icon (three stacked lines) in the top-left corner of the app.

  2. Select High Risk from the menu.

  3. Choose a shorter check-in interval (5 minutes to 5 hours) that covers the duration of your high-risk activity.

  4. Your dashboard timer updates immediately to show the new interval.

4. Restoring Your Regular Check-In

Once you’ve completed your high-risk task or returned to a safe area:

  1. Tap Check In on the main screen.

  2. The app resets to your original check-in frequency.
