Monitor Access Levels

What you’ll learn

  • The three Monitor roles in Ok Alone

  • Permissions and restrictions for each role

  • How to assign and change Monitor access levels

Overview

Ok Alone offers three Monitor access levels to suit different responsibilities and privacy requirements:

  • Admin – Full system access

  • Non-Admin – Standard operational access

  • Extended Privacy – Strict, privacy-focused access

Assign each Monitor the level that matches their role to control what they can see and do on the dashboard.

1. Admin (Full Access)

Admins have unrestricted permissions across the entire Ok Alone system:

  • View and edit all Monitors, Workers, Settings, Reports, Logs, Shifts, and Locations

  • Access financial accounts and billing information

  • Add or remove any user

  • Configure account-wide settings

Use this role for system owners and senior administrators.

2. Non-Admin (Limited Access)

Non-Admin Monitors support daily operations without financial or user-management privileges:

  • Cannot access financial accounts or billing

  • View all Workers, Reports, Logs, Shifts, and Locations

  • Edit only the Workers assigned to them

  • Add new Workers

  • Cannot view or edit other Monitors or global Settings

Ideal for supervisors who manage field teams but don’t handle billing or system configuration.

3. Extended Privacy (Restricted Access)

Extended Privacy Monitors focus on privacy, seeing only their assigned Workers:

  • View only actions, alerts, shifts, and locations for assigned Workers

  • Cannot add new Workers

  • Cannot view Reports, Timesheets, or Safety Awards

  • Cannot access any Settings or financial data

Use this role when strict data privacy is required (e.g., external partners, auditing personnel).
